Eating and Sleeping

Jasper is a very happy six month old! We are doing well and staying busy as always. I am busy with class and I've also gotten some small side jobs with grading papers and doing some pottery (again, finally! much fun). Darrell is busy with teaching and tutoring four students on the side which is nice. I also help with the youth group on Sundays and am organizing a neighborhood cookout for this Saturday. So we are good!

Really what consumes my life most of all is Jasper's eating and sleeping and trying to figure it all out! On Tues & Thurs I have to try to get him to take a nap and I have to nurse him before I leave for class. The nap usually doesn't happen which is not good. All kids must take an afternoon nap, hello!?! So that has been frustrating but I guess we're figuring it out. He is mostly happy and a ton of fun for sure.
Yo, what's up?Silly Faces
We had lots of fun visitors last week. Naomi, Emma, and Clare visited on Wednesday, then Elisha and Amelia visited on Thursday.
Here Jasper & Clare discuss the weather and the Braves.
We also went shopping with Gigi on Friday. Then on Saturday night, Darrell and I went to his 10 year high school reunion. We had lots of fun and I think everyone was happy to see "Most Likely to Succeed." We left around 10 pm, as people started drinking a lot, Bama was losing, and well, that's way past my bedtime anyway.

I just love looking at pictures of Jasper. He is just so cute! You guys sound like us...doing a little bit of EVERYTHING to make ends meet. We've ended up with some interesting stories about what we will do for grocery money! :)

Guys,
Jasper is seriously one of the cutest babies I have ever seen in my life. Seriously. He's ridiculously good-looking. Good work.

He sure looks like a bundle of fun! I'm so glad about your pottery, too. I know that you really enjoy that a lot, so I'm excited that you get to do it again.

Hey Hey Hey! It's MM! What a cutie!! He is growing up so fast. He is just a few weeks older than Sarah. You sound like me...trying to figure out napping/eating etc. There definitely isn't a formula. :) What an adventure. We're heading to North GA for Gold Rush. Do you think we could all get together w/our families???? Is it possible to rent the BSU house?

What a HAPPY little fella!! He sure likes the camera. Great pictures and yes, Rell and baby Rell DO have the same eyes. About MM's comment, Ethan's b'day party is on Saturday of Gold Rush, but we might could come up Sunday. Let us know if ya'll plan anything.
