Jasper's mother's morning out/preschool had a Christmas program this past Thursday night. The toddler and two-year-old classes performed three songs, Jingle Bells, Where is Baby Jesus, and one other one I can't remember. I wasn't sure how Jasper would react to standing on stage in our new big sanctuary - if he'd even stay up there, not say a word, etc?? Jasper was happy to be on stage though he did not stay still at all. Of course chaos is a good word to describe their performance and Jasper did his part to contribute by running all over the stage. After their performance, the preschool director said (in reference to the last song "Where is Baby Jesus?"), "Jasper sure was looking hard for baby Jesus!" ha ha. He was REALLY running all over the stage by the end. I think if there had been water in the baptismal fount he would have been splashing around. Too funny! On another note the three-year-olds stood perfectly still for their performance - what a world of difference a year will make! We didn't even stay for the Pre-K class skit & songs.
