Jasper turned THREE on March 9! He is a sweet, funny, easygoing kid. It is so fun to see his sense of humor develop. He loves cars, trucks, trains, work machines of all kinds, fire trucks. Anything cars and trucks will keep him entertained for hours. We love that he can play by himself for long periods of time still. The other morning all was quiet and I found him and Baxter both sitting reading books in Baxter's room. This is the norm for Jasper but definitely not for Baxter (not yet anyway is my hope). They are having fun interacting more and playing with each other.
Jasper got a bunk bed for his birthday which he LOVES. We got them at the beginning of March and he is still constantly saying, "hey come see my bunk beds!" To celebrate Jasper's birthday, we had a small family birthday party complete with a Lightning McQueen cake made by Darrell.

Just showed these pictures to J and K and Kate said "Oh, I want my cake to look like that one!" Hopefully she'll like the My little Pony cake that I'm planning. I don't know if I could duplicate McQueen.
