I will update the blog. Unfortunately today is not the day but I thought I would at least say HI and let you know all the things that have gone on in the last few months. There will be blog updates in the future.
In May, Jasper finished his mother's morning out program, Darrell finished school, and Baxter turned ONE. We had a fun Curious George birthday party which is quite an appropriate theme because he is a chunky monkey! Baxter is such a sweet, cuddly, loving toddler who climbs on everything. He weighed 28 lbs at one year and was 32 inches tall. We can tell he is really slimming down though when naked, he looks like an ape with a huge belly sticking out.
In June, we went to the beach for a week, worked in the garden, and did swimming lessons with both boys. We are starting to get lots of cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers. We had a great harvest of lettuce for over a month. Also lots of basil and Darrell makes some great pesto!
So far in July, the boys went to "Camp Gigi" for a week, we bought a mini-van, and we are now packing it for a 6 day camping trip. We leave in the morning for two nights in Boone, NC and three nights in Damascus, VA.
I cannot believe how fast the summer has flown by! It has been a fun one so far and I will update with photos and stories after we return from our camping trip!
