Goodbye to the Corolla, Jan -07. 263,000 miles. It never failed to start!
We drove it til the wheel literally fell off (or actually, would not turn).
Typical weeknight:
Having the neighbors, Daniel & Mary Catherine, over for dinner...
Baby room pictures:
Ready for baby! I've gained 21 pounds. Darrell says: 20 pounds of baby and 1 pound of Reese's peanut butter eggs. I think its the truth!

You are still a "skinny Mini!!"
You look great.
I know from experience that you probably feel like a whale!!! You don't look it!
Good Luck...Keep us posted!!!

The Corolla is gone?!? I had no idea. Darrell - you need to get a calculator poster hanging in your classroom so it can be seen from the hallway, stat. I love the Santa hat over the tv antenna thing. Joni- YOU LOOK GREAT!! Only 21 lbs? That's amazing, I gain that in a holiday season. Ok maybe not, but I could if I really wanted to. Come on baby Skogman, your fans are waiting to meet you! Love-Heather P.
Heather P, you are stinkin hilarious. Yes, ode to the Corolla. I bought Mal's '99 blue honda CRV so we are now a reliable two-car family...and just in time, too!
After spending the first 2/3 of the pregnancy incredibly nauseous, I do feel very uncomfortable and large now but don't care! I decided I used up all my allotted pregnancy complaints early on so now I refuse to lay around on the couch or complain...I did ask Darrell to put my socks on for me the other morning which I had told myself i would NOT do. But I can still have whiny moments, right?
Yea...welcome to the blogger world! It's about time!! WE can't wait to meet baby Skog. I bet baby is going to be LONG!! Good luck with the next few days!! We're praying the baby comes soon!!
I always Eat Eggplant when the Baby won't come!

You are carting a baby around in your tummy...the least Darrell can do is put on your socks. I say he can even wash the dirty ones and fold them and put them away too :)
Heather P.
what a most fabulous update! joni you are an extremely talented blogger and i look forward to exciting posts to come. i love the completed nursery, am still grieving the loss of "corrie", giggled at the math teacher pic and was reminded of my jealousy that you guys began the compound w/ the tritts and did not wait on us to move home. :)
Donna & any other families wanting to join the commune in our cul-de-sac just let me know...I'll be happy to knock on more doors and ask if they want to sell their house so our friends can move in! It works!
joni :)
p.s. another interesting tidbit: my friend Mallory was not looking to sell her car. I asked if she wanted to sell it and turns out, she did want to sell it...to me!
Ahhh, so I've been trying to think of anyone that I need a favor from and then I'm going to ask Joni to go ask them, are you a Jedi?
Thanks for the pics!!!! Rell you're hilarious in that chinese hat pic! I can't wait to see Little Jazz!
Hey!! I'm so excited ya'll have a blog now. I just found it on Stephen and Jenny's site. We've got you linked now so we can keep up w/ the Skogman's. Can't wait to see pics of the baby!!
