9th Annual Touch-a-Truck in Gainesville - every little boy's dream! We had a good adult to child ratio with our crew: 5 adults and Jasper! There were so many vehicles to see, climb on, and horns to honk!
Grandie & Daddy watching Jasper enjoy it all

Playing with trucks at home - Mommy built this ramp; Jasper is advanced but not that advanced!
Last Thursday we made a day trip to the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga. The Moores have an annual pass (as Naomi wrote on her blog: she should just move in!) and Karen just moved to Knoxville so it was a great place for the 3 of us to rendezvous. It is an AWESOME children's museum and Jasper's first trip to such a place. He loved it! There was so much more to do there that we did not even touch on. First, we played at the water tables for a while then moved onto the infant play room. We stayed in there til lunch time! There was a workshop, a kitchen, train table, dress up clothes...a great enclosed area for the kids to have freedom and for the adults to sit and (somewhat) chat and catch up. Jasper just wanted to sit in the red car mostly while Emma & Kate played in the kitchen. Clare did a little bit of everything while Jackson army-crawled all over the place.Jasper, Clare, & Jackson at the water table
Playing in the kitchen. Emma served us some great food. Jackson is still soaking wet from water table play!
We did a quick walk through of the math/science area which was way cool but better suited for kids a little older (like Darrell). We will have to go back with Daddy for sure!

That looks awesome! I kept thinking the whole time reading that everything looked just as fun for adults. I want to touch a fire truck.

What fun!! I didn't know about the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga. We will definitely have to check it out sometime in the next few months.
