Apple Farm & Cafe
Sorry for the very late update this week. I am really busy preparing for a luncheon I am starting at our church which is going to be held the first Monday of every month. Monday, October 6th is the first one - just a few days away! It is a $5 all-you-can-eat soup & cornbread lunch for anyone in the community with all the money going to help hunger needs in our community. I am really excited about it and feel like I have gotten a good response so far...we will see how the first one goes and hopefully it will just grow from there. Besides getting ready for the First Monday Cafe, we have been chilling at home since no gas stations in our area have fuel. It is pretty crazy. I was able to fill up yesterday with only having to wait maybe 5 minutes so I am good for another week or so. Hopefully it will get better soon.
Despite the gas shortage, we still went last Friday to an apple farm in Ellijay (most other moms canceled but we were fortunately able to go). Jasper enjoyed the wagon ride and petting zoo part of the tour, which was the last third of the tour. Unfortunately the first two-thirds of the tour involved watching a video, milking a cow, drinking apple juice, listening to talking cow head on wall of barn...all things that involve sitting which is not what Jasper wants to do, ever. He was most happy sitting on tractors until we got to the parts of the tour he wanted to do!

Below you can see his big boo-boo's on his nose & forehead from a fall on concrete the previous weekend. They healed in a week which is amazing!
