Toybox

Grandpa made Jasper a toybox and it is beautiful! Jasper's favorite part is the apostrophe in the words "Jasper's Stuff."
We visited some friends on Saturday who were staying at a cabin on Lake Rabun. It was a nice quick getaway for us in such a pretty place. We walked out the back of the cabin down a short trail to Minnehaha Falls.
Emma is a big sister so she is good at watching out for little ones.
Enjoying the fall weather outside
Yesterday was the first First Monday Cafe and it was a huge success. I was so pleased. We tallied 47 people though we may have missed a few and raised over $200 for hunger needs in our community. We had a great response and feedback from everyone who attended. I anticipate this will really take off. It is going to be the first Monday of each month. And the soup was great - 13 crock pots of soup from cheddar potato to beef stew to chicken noodle. I was absolutely exhausted after finishing clean up yesterday!

I love how Emma is holding onto Jasper's shirt as they're looking over the edge into the lake! She is so cute! That's great about the Monday Cafe! I think it's awesome that you are doing that! Wish I was there to help!
