Jasper loves to 'hold baby baxter'. He is a great big brother!Below, here we are taking Baxter to his first pediatrician appointment on June 2nd at 5 days old. He weighed 8 lbs 4 oz - already past his birth weight which was huge for me. So thankful! I took him yesterday for his two week appt and he was 9 lbs 5 oz - another pound! So I guess we can say he is eating good and getting enough. So thankful!
Baxter is two weeks old and doing great. Our internet, however, has not been so great. It stopped working Mon-Thurs this week and has been sporadic today. So I thought I would sneak in a quick blog post while the internet is working. We have lots of pictures and stories to share...I'll have to do some major blogging soon to share it all!! Overall, we are doing wonderful and it is just incredible having Darrell home all the time. Lots more news and photos to come...soon, I hope!

Congratulations! Baxter James is adorable and Jasper is looking like a very capable big brother.
I took care of Ethan James yesterday while Jason went fishing on Lake Lanier. Like Darrell, Jason is taking care of Ethan this summer while Maggie is at work. I think it is a great blessing, and I am always eager, when it works with my schedule, to take care of Ethan.
These two photos are just wonderful, and I can't wait so see more.
