Jasper is a wonderful big brother. He is very gentle and helpful. He'll often lay a car or truck next to Baxter's head which is very cute. Jasper loves Baxter very much! Jasper is very excited that Baxter is big enough to sit next to him in the stroller now.
They have very different skin tone. Jasper is SO tan with olive skin like mine. Baxter is much more fair skinned and his skin is very sensitive - like Darrell.
Baxter blue eyes! Jasper loves to sit in the bumbo too and his thighs don't get stuck like Baxter's do! Jasper fits in it better now than he did when he was a chunky baby!

August means back to school for Darrell but it has been a really great transition. Darrell misses Jasper a lot as they spent tons of time together this summer and had so much fun bonding and playing. Baxter is a much happier baby these days, still just a rough schedule and there's no consoling him. He doesn't take a paci which has been weird b/c Jasper loved the paci and was completely comforted by sucking. Baxter's not great with bottles either. We've only done a few bottles but have realized he has a lot weaker sucking reflex than Jasper did. Jasper responded so well to sucking on a paci and swaddling and Baxter has been very different in that regard. We do use the miracle blanket at night still though he is getting too big for it and has usually wiggled out by morning. He weighs about 18 pounds and is not even 3 months old. Quite the chunk! Baxter does go for 9-11 hours at night which is great!! His nap schedule is still erratic. If we're at home the only way he sleeps is on his tummy in his crib, after crying for 3-10 minutes. Unless we're out and about and he sleeps in his car seat. He's still at the age where he can do that and be fine with it. I guess his schedule is still erratic b/c it can be and I'm going out doing stuff with Jasper.
