09.09.09 & Baxter at 3 months

Life is good and busy! Jasper is 2.5 years old today!! Baxter is doing great, now 3 months old and developing a fun little personality. He has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now, sometimes going 11 or 12 hours which is amazing. Then sometimes he still wakes up a few times! Still not consistent but overall doing great.

He hated it and completely freaked out before we even left the house. He has never freaked out like that at the church nursery or MOPS, but Darrell talked to him about it for a long time and I think he got really scared about mommy leaving him and things did not go over so well....but long story short, we are on week 3 and I think he actually had fun today.

Baxter does have a cute smile though I don't get many pics of it. He definitely is not as smiley as Jasper was. Below: here is Baxter at 3 months wearing this 6-9 month outfit that Jasper wore at his 6 month photos! (see pics below-and notice expression with mouth). There is a little collar on the outfit that you can't even see when Baxter wears it. It gets lost in all his chins. Along the same lines, I did see his neck the other day for the first time in a long time...Here are more pictures of Baxter at 3 months, enjoying the jumperoo and exersaucer, too. I haven't weighed him since he was 18 pounds at the beginning of August but I'm wondering if he is too big for this carseat. Weight limit is 22 pounds. I don't think he's there yet but I guess he could be?
