We moved Jasper to his big boy room almost two weeks ago and he has done so so well with staying in bed and sleeping well. Naptimes have been more challenging than nighttime but overall, he is doing great. He has gotten out of bed 2-3 times total but I quickly found him sitting on the floor in complete darkness holding a book. The boy loves to read - which is so cute but he is not allowed to get out of bed. Fortunately, books are the only temptation in his room right now. He loves his big boy bed. I bought these room darkening curtains and they work great! Darrell painted 3 walls khahi and one wall blue. The only decor so far are 3 fire trucks with hooks for jackets, etc. I plan on getting some fire truck pictures soon.
Here is Jasper hopping around - he loves to jump & hop now that he can get off the ground really well.
He still loves bathtime, too!
He stayed with my parents last weekend and had a blast - visited a fire station, played in the boats at Bass Pro Shop, rode the train at the mall.

i gladly relinquish my room to jasper. it's so cute!
What a big boy! I loved moving the boys to big boy beds, it just felt good to put the crib away...or pass it on. And his room is soo cute, I'll keep an eye out for firetruck stuff, and one day our loud, annoying firetruck may end up in Jaspers toy box...lol!
