We spent last weekend in Charleston visiting Aunt Liz. We had a wonderful time. We left Sat morning after Darrell got home from student council's video game night lock-in at the school. I drove and he slept in the car. We got to see Aunt Liz's new house and visited a few nearby sites. Jasper got to watch basketball on the TV with Aunt Liz and now can say, "hey ref, no blood, no foul." Very humorous - the 'no foul' part is very high pitched and hilarious!

We visited the nearby closed navy base (where the TV show army wives is filmed) on a chilly Saturday afternoon and Jasper joyfully got soaking wet playing in the fountains.

Sunday was sunny but still a bit chilly as we took a walk up the bridge.

On Tuesday, Jasper I visited the Children's Museum in Gainesville - a very fun place! Jasper loved the old fire truck and the police car. It is a good sized museum, not huge, but plenty of rooms. All the rooms are off a main hallway: dentist office, hospital, grocery store, bank, hairdresser, etc. We didn't even go into that many rooms to play. There were two Thomas train tables in the main hallway where Jasper spent most of his time. Granted, we have a train table at home but I guess these were a little bigger with lots more stuff on 'em!
