He is becoming a more happy baby, sleeping longer at night especially when swaddled (miracle blanket really is miraculous!). He is a chunky baby, just like Jasper was. Baxter was the same length at one month but 3 pounds more! At his one month appt, Baxter was 23.5 inches long and 13 lbs 4 oz. And he'll be two months old next week! Amazing!

Happy 4th of July! We had a July 4th party/baby shower for Baxter with all of Darrell's extended family. It was a rockin' party complete with pinata, water balloon toss, and more messy games (Liz, the party planner, is also a youth director so we had all kinds of games!).

Jasper got a monster truck and on his own, immediately lined up cars for "Gunslinger" to jump over! The boy loves cars and trucks.
