Happy Fourth of July! We were in Lilburn with my family. Christy, Matt, & I did the Peachtree Road Race in the blazing hot sun but hey, it's a tradition. We had a good time and Jasper loved playing with the trucks and blocks at Gigi & Granddaddy's house.

The garden is
slowly growing! I didn't plant until mid-May so it will still be a while before getting any veggies. But almost everything has made it - 10 roma, 1 regular tomato, 4 pepper, and 1 basil. Only lost 1 basil. I think watering it regularly will help it grow since we have not had much rain at all this summer (or year).
Darrell & I will be chaperoning our youth group mission trip to Wilmington, NC. We leave tomorrow at 5 am and return the following Sunday. Jasper is staying with my parents. So we'll update when we get back! Happy July!
