Baxter James Skogman was born this Thursday morning 5.28.2009. 
Joni labored hard for just under 4 hours before delivering him moments after arriving at Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega. Our "Admit Time" was recorded as 12:40am and "Delivery Time" was 12:39am. It was that close. They had to do some tweaking on the paperwork after it was all over. Baxter weighed in 1 ounce over 8 pounds and stands 1 foot 9 inches tall. We are all doing great. Baxter has consistently scored perfect on all tests he's been administered and is napping like a champ. We are here at the hospital until Saturday morning while they monitor Baxter. More pictures are on the way. Here he is with Mommy a few hours after delivery.
